Meera & Emma's Birthday

Hello All! Meera & Emma are two! We had a great birthday party in the park with friends and family. We ordered pizza and Ashwini and family made each of the girls ladybug cakes and cupcakes to share. The park was a hit so bored little ones could run and play. And clean up was easier too. The girls loved all of the attention and seemed to be on cloud nine. We couldn't have pulled it off without the help of my parents (Amama and Pop Pop) and our dear friends Ashwini & Yatin. 

The girls are growing and changing daily. Emma has a constant dialogue with herself all day long, mostly consisting of talking on her play phone and taking care of her "Baby Dane." Meera continues to be a crack up. She has been exploring her emotions recently and likes to say "Mimi shy" whenever we are talking to new people. (I am not sure if she is really shy or just likes to pretend to be). She has taken a few steps on her own recently! We are overjoyed and hope that she will be able to walk soon. She loves walking with her mini-grocery cart - so much that we take it with us on our walks around the block.

It is amazing to watch them grow into themselves and so sweet to witness their special relationship (incredibly they hug and kiss more than they hurt each other these days).

June 2010 Trying on hats

Hi All, It has been nearly 4 months since our last post! Can we use our same excuse, that we have twins? Rather than posting all of our photos since January, I thought I would just post this little session of trying on hats (which seems a lot less intimidating). Things are going great with us. Meera is progressing, slowly, but surely (still not walking). Her new thing is to push Emma around in the stroller. They both are talking a ton. I tried to upload a video of Emma doing her new thing - turning around in circles until she gets dizzy and falls down. I will keep at it. Hope you all are well! Love, the J-Ds.
